Single Malt Scotch Whisky from an un- named distillery
Bottled by the leading malt whisky specialists Gordon and MacPhail of Elgin the source of this excellent single malt is a closely guarded secret. The company have a long and distinguished history. Established in 1895 as family grocers at 38/40 South Street, Elgin it has gone on to become one of the most renowned bottlers of single malt whisky’s in Scotland. Now employing over 130 people the company are now also the owners of the Benromach distillery in Forres.

Glen Avon 1953 was matured in first fill sherry hogsheads and the nose is full and rich. A touch of smoke and notes of peat over lush Madeira fruits finishes this well balanced single malt whisky from one of the most famous producers in Scotland.
Taste: Full bodied fruity whisky, with notes of zest, marmalade and herbs
